Thanks Christine and Martin. This morning I saw, with some difficulty owing to the distance and topography, two Banded Lapwings. They were in a paddock about 300 m NE of the gate of 1443 Hoskinstown Road.

No sign of chats.

Regards - David

I should have mentioned earlier that the record of White-fronted Chats is the first for my collection of data for the broad Carwoola area (since 2007).  Thanks again Christine and Steve.

Most excellent Christine.  Thanks for detail on loc'n. I found 8 Banded Lapwings just N of the gate to 1433 Hoskinstown Rd about 5 minutes ago.  Also 2 pink-eared duck on a dam at Mills Cross.

Seen yesterday afternoon from Hoskinstown Road, 11 Banded Lapwing, 2 White-fronted Chat and more than 120 Magpies among other species on roadside just North of Hoskinstown. Seen by Steve Wallace and myself.
