Bird Books – Bargain sale – 8 July meeting - $5 or $2 (eg small books)
The COG Committee is rationalising what it can keep in its storage facility. A decision has been made to offer at the members meeting, books about birds which are peripheral to our core business and excess to needs. The July meeting
sale includes a number of bird field guides from all around the globe (Americas, UK, Europe, Southern Africa, Indian and Asian islands, Australia – some may be a little dated). Many are in very good condition. As the number of books is quite large, there
will be a second group for sale at another meeting, details will be advertised in the future. The books will be available from around 7pm on the meeting night (8 July), and after the meeting concludes (the meeting officially commences 7.30pm). Details of
the COG meeting venue at the Canberra Girls Grammar School in Deakin are on the COG website: canberrabirds.org.au
NOTE: PLEASE BRING SMALL CHANGE ($1 or $2 coins/$5 notes). All monies will go directly into a donation bucket for the COG Conservation Fund which sponsors bird related research projects.
