Two Wedge-tailed Eagles were floating just over tree-top height on the west mid-slopes of Mt Ainslie between 3.50 and 4.00 pm this afternoon. Coming in v. low over the summit track from the AWMemorial - using that steady NW breeze. Great views.  Looking back up from Duffy St,  one at least was still circling low over the summit between 4.30 and 4.35.
