I don't now if anyone has responded. The owl is still there.
As you face the trees in Haig Park from McCaughey St count 3 rows from the
bowliong club and walk to the 5th tree. It is high up on the bowling club
side but close to the trunk. It is difficult to get a decent photo.
You can park on McCaughey St.

The bird is still there and you can see dinner in the talons. I have a photo
and unfortunately it is too big. I am technically deficient in reducing the
size.

Ad finitum, another Turner observation, that despite the heavy rain and
looking decidedly bedraggled the owl is again situated in the callitris type
tree, third row and five from the road. As T1 reported yesterday it had been
in a much larger tree ( pencil pine ? ) in the second row and I now come to
the real purpose of this posting. At the base of this tree and clearly
identifiable are bone and fur fragments which could be of interest to the
scat collector who visits this location.
