Your id is correct, I believe I recall many years ago seeing Eclectus Parrot(s) in a backyard aviary along Learmonth Drive Kambah............ no doubt the bird is worth quite something.........

Hi all

 

A friend of mine posted this photo on facebook yesterday. I  believe that was a bird just in the wild, but haven't heard back from her to confirm this.

 

The photo was taken near Urambi Village when she was out on a walk on the weekend.

 

I believe it's a female Eclectus - unless I am totally off the mark. Has anyone heard about an escapee?
