Other spots: Glendale, Kelly Road, flowering plantings at JWNR, Newline paddock
They are generally movers-through. As to overall status, they are abundant in the Chiltern Box/ironbark but are not a typical garden species here

The box woodlands in the Orroral (spelling?) Valley in the Namadgi NP is one of the best places to see them. They tend to wander during the colder months and
can turn up anywhere around the suburbs. Like many other species locally they are slowly declining in the region.

Subject: [canberrabirds] Fuscous Honeyeater
I saw only my second ever Fuscous Honeyeater yesterday at Mount Rogers (previous one 2 years ago in Harrison).
I note that on the COG website it says that they are a
Common breeding species.
If that is the case, where should I be going to see them? Am I just not very observant and missing them amongst all the yellow-faced honeyeaters or are they in fact not so common
anymore?
Any information would be appreciated.
