Of 27 species there were 2 Southern Whiteface, in company of Scarlet Robin and Yellow-rumped Thornbill – I thought I had seen one 18 May but did not believe it on that occasion. So now confirmed in an area I have not seen them prior to 18 May.

Also seen were 6 Scarlet Robin, 1 Golden Whistler, 1 Australian Kestrel, 1 Brown Falcon (young bird), 2 Speckled Warbler, Thornbills; Yellow-rumped, Striated, Brown and Buff-rumped, 5 Grey Shrike Thrush, many more Superb Fairy Wren than previous months, 2 Laughing Kookaburra, 1 Tawny Frogmouth (named Black Breast), 1 Grey Butcherbird, 8 Red Wattlebird and the usual suspects.

Cold and windy – but with sunshine.  9.50am to 13.00.
