Usually most birds moult adjacent feathers in a specific sequence (except some like various ducks and penguins that moult all in one go). This would be an Aust
Raven and it has lost all its tail feathers at the same time. Quite unusual. It is not necessarily the same bird in both years (unless you know it to be the same bird).

this is the second year I have seen this one with no tail amazes me how it manages
