Dear fellow COG members,

Doug Laing has agreed to bring his presentation Canberra birds-a Century of change to the Field Naturalists' meeting on Thursday June 4th. This will be at 7.30pm in the Gould Seminar Room, Building 116, Daley Road, ANU. "As Canberra and its people have changed over the century, the birds have changed as well. Some species have adapted successfully, others rather less so. This is their story. Doug has led bird-watching walks at the Botanic Gardens, Tidbinbilla and Mulligans Flat as well as contributing to various publications".

If you are newcomers to Canberra and/or its birdlife or have missed similarly titled presentations which helped to celebrate COG's anniversary this is a chance to "catch up". All welcome!

There's no charge..though we do hold an informal, no obligation raffle with a range of preloved bric-a-brac, produce, books etc as prizes.
Join us for a light supper afterwards.

Parking is usually available across Daley road and to the NNW of the Gould Wing's building.

Rosemary
