Is ours the Eastern Scarlet Robin?  .. that one is   “petroica multicolor boodang” ? ...  maybe they are still  incorrect in the legislation register!    (Ref the Birdlife Australia latest working list V1.2 .. that the COG list is based on, a large excel file)

Interesting that the ACT Government has declared the Pacific Robin, Petroica multicolour, as a threatened species when it doesn’t occur in the ACT whereas the Scarlet Robin, P. boodang, does!!

Today Environment Minister Simon Corbell has announced that the Scarlet Robin Petroica multicolor has been declared vulnerable in the ACT.
