What is a lot? It was only a year ago we had more than 100 at one time at Jerra Wetlands, over several weeks

Subject: Re: [canberrabirds] Cattle Egrets at Bungendore I saw a tight flock of 13 fly up the Murrumbidgee valley corridor to the west of us (Gleneagles/Murrumbidgee golf course) before veering left and flying right over our house, back on 9 April. I knew 13 was a lot for the situation (and for my GBS site!) but hadn't realised it applied to the ACT region generally. I've only once previously recorded the species from here (a single bird), on 6 March 2014.
