On Flinders Way and around where the new Brumbies apartments are, lots of
excellent fresh field mushrooms. We have picked 2 large plastic bags full.
Many people are scared about eating mushrooms. My grand father, way back in
the '30s taught me which were edible; but some people still don't trust me to
know; but I haven't died yet of mushroom poisoning.

Often they just get kicked over, by kids walking by. The ones on Frinders Way
were there yesterday at 4.30pm and still there this morning. Marvellous
