In what I call “Parrot Alley” (along the 12th hole on the eastern side of the course) at Belconnen yesterday, a noisy gaggle of king parrots (upwards of 20 or so) were feeding on the ground. A few superb parrots were also noisily flying around at just above head height. Highlight was a white necked heron circling  high over a dam on the second hole.
