Geoffrey I am sure that chap is exactly who Maggie Thatcher had in mind when she set out to appeal to "Essex man". The background of woodland would imply Epping Forest, which is highly appropriate for that metaphor since what is left of the Forest lies between Harlow and Ilford, the core habitats of Homo essexensis.
