I shall certainly try and locate the owl for you and any time between 0800 and
1000 next Friday morning would be suitable for me, contactable by email or
phone 0427292298 . A word of caution , however, is the fact that we have not
been able to find it in the customary perching sites since last Wednesday.
After the ABC television feature on the Tuesday there was an increased influx
of visitors for the rest of the week, probably too many. Furthermore I have
heard several reports from club members that people with spotlights have been
lurking in the vicinity at dusk. As it has been here since early November, now
four months, I suppose it had to leave sometime and possibly the change of
seasons might be a trigger. I will continue to look for it on a daily basis, as
I live close by and hope to have some good news for you later in the week.
