At least two were calling very persistently both yesterday and this morning but all quiet now in Isaacs.

As the more observant of you might have perceived, my grey blob was not a female gang-gang but a female koel. A view from the other side of the tree revealed this – and a male juxtaposed a metre or so above it. Still around then, possibly due to the New-Guinea-like conditions
