Another one that often raises questions. It is an immature Golden Whistler. The rufous wings are still remaining from juvenile plumage, the rest has already been replaced with grey plumage.

Photo taken at Nursery Swamp in Namadgi last weekend … also seen in the area were Grey Shrike-thrushes, White-throated Treecreepers, Spotted Pardaoltes, Gang-gangs, White-eared Honeyeaters, Yellow-faced Honeyeaters, Dusky Woodswallows, Silvereyes and of course lots and lots of Grey Fantails. And a few Rufous Fantails too.
