John Bundock has promised to post a photo showing our powerful owl clutching an
unmistakeable sulphur crested cockatoo. Whilst looking for the owl mid-morning
yesterday I noticed one solitary SCC perched high in the second oak tree very
close to a customary site of the PO. Usually the cockatoos very common in this
area give the owl trees a very wide berth. My theory is that Turnerl ( the owl
) spotted the SCC in the daylight hours and quickly established territorial
rights and a good feed. The sighting yesterday was in the far left of the first
oak tree with good photos obtainable some 30 metres or so into Haig Park.your
