In spring I saw a couple of v. young cubs on the median strip on Yarra Glen (between Curtin and Hughes), seemingly unfazed by the streams of traffic .
And a dead fox (roadkill presumably) a few weeks ago on Campbell Street in Ainslie.

A young fox in Campbell Park, one of several prime breeding spots in Canberra. Callum Brae and Mount Mugga are possibly better. I've seen them in my street recently (one accounting for Whiteney Houston a year or so ago). Some people
can smell the dens from 50m.
