Elms dying around Woden

I don't know about Dutch elm disease, but there pines and eucs are dying 
around the place as well. Pine death in several places is moving along a 
row or moving outwards from the first dead pine. There are various 
examples I know of which involve euc deaths moving downslope - possibly 
the result of soil pathogens.
