Thank you Bruce. I've been away for much of the past two months so have left my invitation a bit late. I hope there might be time for a quick wander through Uriarra Village but will understand if there's not. I have supplies of tea, coffee and drinking chocolate as well as ANZAC biscuits at the ready in case a small detour is possible. 

Both routes to Uriarra homestead are open (Brindabella Rd and Uriarra Road). There are many birds around including Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos at different times of the day - not just on their morning and evening commutes. Yellow faced honeyeaters are in residence but there are also a few snakes around. 

I live at 67 Jim Bradley Cres. - the main drag around the village - which is only a minutes drive from the homestead. I'll see you at the homestead dam.
