On my way down to Cooma this morning, I stopped for a quick look around at Kelly Road (between Williamsdale and Michelago) and was delighted to see a couple of young Brown Treecreepers. Given their decline in our region, it’s heartening to find some successful breeding.

Other young birds observed there included Sacred Kingfisher, Fuscous Honeyeater and Dusky Woodswallow.
