I have put a blogpost up about my activities today with a few not too bad (by my standards) photos.   The highlights were:

Mulligans Flat Big Dam
  • 16 Freckled Duck
  • 6 Lathams Snipe
  • 6 red-kneed Dotterel
  • 1 Peregrine Falcon
  • 5 Superb Parrots
Forde ponds
  • Great Egret
  • 3 Superb Parrots (almost certainly some of the ones which overflew me in Mullies)
I couldn't locate any of the rarer Rallidae

Kellys Swamp
  • 1 Intermediate Egret
  • 10 Pink-eared Ducks.
