Greater Glider?

From my experience Greater gliders will often sit and watch you, but Yellow bellied Gliders are much more active.  As Mark describes, the cackle of the Yellow-bellied Glider  is a sound you will never forget once heard.  For another close up encounter with a Greater Glider see https://vimeo.com/98130142 - that I filmed in Kanangra Boyd NP, where they live in trees that not tall, unlike the big spotted gums you find them in down the coast.  Depot Beach is a good spot for Greater Gliders. Allways lovely to see.

I reckon it's a Greater Glider, but it seems to lack the fluffy ears.

It was on the grass outside our hut at Depot Beach last night. Seemed to be bigger than a normal size house cat and had a tail the length of my arm (60 - 70 cm) or 1.5 times its body size. 

The head seemed too small for the body size. It wasn't too fazed by us, but still decided to slowly go up a tree.

Anyone here who could give me a definite ID please?
