This Brown Goshawk chick is about to fledge. Marion and I have watched it since 14 Dec when we first saw it and all you could see was a little ball of fluff with two black eyes to this yesterday morning. Not once while we were observing did the adult birds bring food to it as did the Collared Sparrowhawks to their chicks at the nest near Stirling Ridge Yarralumla. Lindell Lindell Griffith ACT |
