I saw the owl between 11am and noon, stood exactly where Robin said to stand to
see it. I don't understand how the photographers can get such good photos.
With my binoculars I couldn't take in any details, except that it had it's back
to me and the tail feathers seemed short. I also walked to stand almost under
it, but I can't look straight up
It is great having a powerful owl back again but the one in the ANBG a few
years ago was much easier to see
