The powerful owl was still there today - thanks to some big lenses pointing in the right direction, I was delighted to locate this rare visitor. Couldn't stay long due to a promise to take my grandson for a chocolate milk, but on a 2nd visit this afternoon the owl was startled by something and for a moment looked squarely in my direction.
