The mid-week walk scheduled for tomorrow will go ahead: it seems unlikely there will be a fireban . Meet at 8:30 at the entrance to Hall TSR on the Barton Highway as shown in the image below. If people wish we might also call in to the Cemetery after concluding our business at the TSR . I haven't visited the TSR recently but some areas out this way have been rather damp after recent rains. Either wear old footwear or waterproof things. Grass seeds might also be an issue so gaiters might be useful. I would also remind people of Mark Clayton's post-blitz comment that the Reserve looks to be rather good reptile habitat: sturdy trousers, gaiters or wellies would be useful. Martin Butterfield |
