During the last couple of days there has been constant chirruping and contact calls of a a group of about ten superb parrots in the trees bordering the path around Mt Rogers above Avery and Deasland Places here in Fraser. It is a return to the old days of five to eight years ago when they used to arrive from the direction of Hall Village and rest in the same trees for a few hours before making their way southwest to parts unknown (possibly the Belconnen Golf Course).
