Driving yesterday just south of Greenethorpe (a stone throw from Grenfell) there were ~150 superb parrots feeding on what I believe was spilt grain on the road along a 2 km stretch. Obviously saw a few road killed (I picked up 1 in good condition for delivery to National collection).

Also with them were 2 groups of 5 cockatiels, huge numbers of Eastern Rosellas, Galahs and Red-rumps.
