Do sacred kingfishers regurgitate food to feed their chicks? As the parents of
the chicks in the nest on the road up Mt. Ainslie fly in, presumably with food
to feed the chicks, we have not been able to see that there is food in their
bills. Earlier, they were disappearing into the nest; on Saturday, they were
not going in as far. Chicks would be getting bigger and taking up more room. I
wonder whether the chicks will appear at the entrance of the nest, to be fed,
as the kestrel chicks did.
