As David McDonald found on Wednesday there is a single Plumed Whistling Duck on the central bank of the Westernmost (ie furthest from the village) pond. It was sleeping so plumes not visible but colour rather unmistakeable. Also, one Freckled Duck on the Easternmost pond and the Shelduck family grazing beside the entrance. Martin Butterfield |
