For
what it is worth, for several months over the past year (that is to say I saw or
heard it many times) there has been at least one Grey Currawong, in the Kambah Sports Parks, that is the area
either side of Tuggeranong Parkway between Athllon & Sulwood.

I
thought I heard and saw two today flying over Wanniassa NP but wasn’t sure.
Right next to Callum Brae.

during the COG bird blitz in late Oct, Anne C and I saw two
grey currawongs together up near the pump station at Callum Brae, and
another in the middle of the reserve. I've been seeing them there very
regularly.

The Grey Currawong has
been in the Callum Brae area for a while now. I thought I saw one in the last
week of September from my office window, but wasn’t 100% sure due to how quickly
it zipped through. However, I saw it on consecutive days 7th->9th October
sitting 10 metres away on the wire fence outside my office window. It spent a
couple of hours each day hunting amongst the tall grass in the adjacent
field.
Interestingly there
was full scale war between the Little Ravens and Pied Currawongs at the time,
yet the Grey Currawong was not harassed at all. It was even sitting next to a
Little Raven on the fence for about 2 minutes at one
point.

I saw and badly photographed what I
thought was a grey currawong at Nursery Corner, Callum Brae, this morning.
I have just checked out its unmistakeable call, and I am now 99% certain it was
a grey currawong. I have attached the link to the call I checked
out.
