Hi everyone

I have had a pair crimson rosellas nesting in my eaves and then in a nesting box on the wall of my house in Watson for the last 6-7 years.  This year, for the first time, I have compromised their privacy by installing a webcam in the roof of their nest box.  If you are interested, there is a series of ‘rosellacam’ photos and videos on my facebook page with public settings:   https://www.facebook.com/jacqui.malins.1

They cover from the first appearance of one egg, to their rapid multiplication, though to hatching and now the initiation of parental harassment.  If they all survive, the box will be a bit like a sardine-tin of rosellas before long…

They aren’t rare or unusual specimens, but I am certainly enjoying watching them!

Jacqui
