The echidna looked terrifying big, definitely not "out of Africa" but more like "out of Gondwana".
Great to be able to stand back & get such a shot.
Sadly missed the Aust. bittern show last night. Wife "crook". Will have to visit my rice farmer friend & see for myself, i.e. once we move into town.
