Hi All, Just arrived home after stalking the pink-eared ducks for a couple of hours. As John said, they stayed in the middle of the pond, occasionally flying when startled, but returning to roughly the same spot, where they remained after my departure. Photos were a real challenge, given the distance and the gusty winds, but at least I have a souvenir of my first sighting of these birds in Gungahlin.
