Thanks to the ever-observant Julie Clarke, I have also just seen the reappearance of the Gungahlin Pink-Eared Ducks, six of them on Yerrabi Pond. 
They stay in the middle of the pond and are hard to pick in among the many other ducks and coots and even harder against the setting sun so Julie did well. She might get a distant photo to prove it all.
For me at least, first time in Gungahlin for about 3 years.
