Spotted my first white-winged triller of the season - a male at Aspen Island early this morning. Red wattlebird feeding an advanced (but still begging) fledgling in the NGA sculpture garden. Numerous black-faced cuckoo shrikes at Aspen Island and near Nerang Pool, and a SC cockatoo disappearing into a hole in a large willow also near Nerang Pool. Two wood duck families - one with tiny ducklings near Floriade, another pair on the water with some small and some very large ducklings. Sandra H |
