ÛÍ=~˪yëNºÛ?¶Ón¶÷N5Ó Good afternoon
I wanted to email as I thought your organisation and its members may be interested in hearing about our Taronga Bird Festival which starts at Taronga Zoo this coming Monday.
Our inaugural Taronga Bird Festival runs from 29 September – 31 October 2014 and is a celebration of all things feathered on land, in the air and in the water. There’s something for birders of all ages with a range of daily bird talks, bird tours and bird-themed
activities at Taronga Zoo, and special events such as lecture nights and art shows hosted by supporters outside the Zoo.
Daily free presentations include a Cassowary Talk, Penguin Talk and a Pelican talk and our tours and activities include a guided bird walk and a rainforest bird walk, bird-themed touch tables, and a bird-attracting plant display. Kids can also take part
in our Twitchathon to spot an array of birds!
More details about the Taronga Bird Festival including timetables and external events are available here: http://taronga.org.au/bird-festival
We hope to see you soon. If you would like any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.
Kind regards,
Barbra
