Thank you Rosemary…we also have an OB Oriole at Giralang Pond at the moment it 
is vocal all day. Along with what might be a breeding pair of the pied 
cormorants, the Great Heron, White faced Heron , unusually no Night Herons. 
Since Saturday the reed warbler , Grey Fly Catcher , Willie ,many swallows a 
striated Pardelote and today the  first PallidCuckoo.Friar Bird had one 
fleeting visit and I thought I heard Golden Whistler and the Triller on the 
weekend but cannot confirm .

and the mico bats grazing the compost at dusk then the brief call of the Banjo 
and the all nighter spotted grass frog…

We are a lucky lot
