5 dusky woodswallows seen at Tidbinbilla today. None seen last week, nor earlier this week. Welcome swallows nest building in the canopy over the entrance  to the Visitors’ Centre.

Plenty of dusky woodswallows back at CB, and much activity at nursery corner, with corollas, cockatoos and rosellas exploring hollows, and some duskies trying to discourage crimson rosellas in some areas. Striated pardalotes nest building in same place as a COG walk saw them last year, visiting tiny hole in large euc with nest material. Kestrel probably nesting or about to, giving nest contact calls.
