I’m not sure if this has been discussed here recently, but my copy of The World’s Rarest Birds arrived today and apart from the slightly depressing population estimates for many species, it seems like a well thought out compilation.  I’m a pretty brutal critic when it comes to nature photography, but I can say there are some exceptional shots in this book.
