I hadn't seen or heard any MLs in the Hughes area since 22 June.

However, this morning at around 10.15 there were 4 MLs in flowering Mugga Ironbarks at the north end of Alfred Deakin High School tennis courts along Kent Street, Deakin.

No Rainbow Lorikeets to be seen or heard.

You can walk in off the road to under the trees, there's no fence, and schools are on holiday this week.
