Visiting Goodwin Village at Ainslie on Saturday  - there was a large flock, 30+,  of King Parrots in the feeding on the ground on seeds from deciduous trees on the corner of Wakefield and Bonner Streets.
They were only slightly wary of humans, flying up into the trees when people were a few paces away. They were far less afraid go the road. Some were feeding in the gutter and on the edge of the road and were not particularly perturbed by cars which they obviously did not perceive as a threat. I kept going across the road and making them fly into the trees but two were struck and killed while I was there.
