Their breeding time is very broad. The COG Atlas shows this (although the
graph and text don't match in terms of June & July) and with many years data
since then it is surely wider now and with the mild autumn we have had that
breeding is not that odd, a bit on the late side. The babies are easy food
for Ravens etc. David's likely nest prospecting is about normal timing.
