Thanks for the tip Anthony. Unfortunately I didn't find the swift parrots, although I did think I heard some overhead, but I had a wonderful time watching and snapping the superbs.
For anyone who wanted to see a variety of parrots in the one spot there were also heaps of red-rumps, eastern rosellas and the crimsons started to arrive as I left.
