Two days ago I disturbed a Common Bronzewing on the front nature-strip - flying off it showed the distinctive bronze under the wings. It was too quick to id it's gender then this morning it was here again briefly. I have never had one visit before - I would have thought it too far from it's natural habitat seeing I do live in the middle of suburbia.
