Binoculars

Hi all those contributing to the discussion about binoculars.
For what it¹s worth, I am the person who blogged last year about the
Vortex Diamondback 8 x 42 binoculars. They cost about $250 and I purchased
mine online.
A year on, I am still more than happy with them. No doubt there are
Œbetter¹ binoculars but it depends on what you want them for. Mine and the
10 x 42 version are excellent for birding - right magnification, great
field of vision, clarity etc. And they have lifetime warranty for ANYTHING
which could happen. No questions asked - run over, dropped in the water,
scratched lenses etc.
You could no doubt get better for a lot more money but I don¹t see what
Œbetter¹ would mean for me as I am perfectly happy with what I have. Cheers
John
