This might have seemed a little cryptic.  The coincidence is yesterday I was updating my Birds of Canberra talk and needed a slide to introduce a short segment on miscellaneous birds.

 

 

What then is a miscellaneous bird?  It is one that comes after you deal  with other specific groups of birds.  This is a typical miscellaneous bird:

By coincidence there is a juv oriole in the miscellaneous birds basket.  If you like to ID birds from pictures you can put names to the other ones
