Thanks all. What confused me was that it's the first time I have seen a reed-warbler in bushes amongst white-plumed honeyeaters, rather than by themselves in
reeds! Furthermore, apart from white-plumed honeyeater calls, the only other call coming from the bush were single loud cheeps, not at all like I associated with a reed-warbler. Perhaps there was a different bird in there was well, or it was a reed-warbler
call I am unfamiliar with.

I agree. And whilst I'm not up with the spelling and it depends on what book you use but also called Clamorous Reed-Warbler (with a capital W because it is a warbler)
(that thing anyway).
